Archery
Archery is
shot by all ages of 8 though 18. Archery Instruction teaches the
nine steps of shooting form - Stance, Nock, Set,
Pre-Draw, Draw, Anchor, Aim, Release and Follow Through.
For scoring we use teh NFAA 300 Round Target, shooting only
30 arrows for a possible score of 150. As with all the Shooting
Sports Safety, safety and fun is our goal.

Gun
BB Gun is shot by all ages of 8 though
18. BB Gun is shot at a distance of 5 meters (16.5ft)with 10 shots per target + sighting shots (aka sighters).
You will learn proper shooting stance, sight
alignment, trigger control, breathing, follow through and will
be shooting the four positions - prone (laying
down), standing,
sitting and kneeling. These guns are smaller and lighter and
great place to start learning, but never too old to shoot.
Air
Pistol
Air
Pistol is shot by all ages of 8 through 18.
Air Pistol uses .177 pellets and is shot at a distance
of 10 meters (32.8ft). There are 5 shots per Bull for
a total of 20 shots per paper target. We also have
metal silhouettes (ram, pig, turkey and chicken).
You will learn proper sight alignment, trigger control,
breathing, grip and follow through.

Rifle
Air Rifle
is shot by all ages of 8 through 18. Air Rifle uses .177 pellets
and is shot at a distance of 10 meters (32.8ft). There are
10 shots per paper target + sighting shots. We also have metal
silhouettes (ram, pig, turkey and chicken). You will learn proper
shooting stance, sight alignment, trigger control, breathing,
follow through and will shoot 3 positions- prone,
standing & kneeling.
22
Pistol
22 Pistol is shot by all ages of 11
through 18 AND must have
one year experience with Air Pistol or Air Rifle or BB Gun with
DC4-HSS. 22 Pistol in done at DSC (see Location at top) and is
shot at a distance of 50ft. There are 10 shots per target with
3 targets - slow fire, timed fire and rapid fire for a total of
30 shots.
You will learn proper shooting stance, sight alignment, trigger
control, breathing, grip and follow through.

Rifle
22 Rifle is shot by all ages of 11 through 18 AND must
have
one year experience with Air Rifle or BB Gun with DC4-HSS.
22 Rifle in done at DSC (see Location at top) and is shot at
a distance of 50ft. There are 10 shots per target with 3 targets
-
prone, standing and kneeling. You will learn proper shooting
stance, sight alignment, trigger control, breathing, follow
through and to shoot three positions- prone,
standing and kneeling.
