2009 TRAP SEASON

LOCATION
Mitchell Trap Range
The driveway for the Mitchell Trap Range is located just West of the of the
Davison County Fair Grounds, on the North side of the Hwy (there is a sign)
 
SHOOTING TIMES
Trap Shooting will be Monday nights at 6:30pm, beginning sometime in late May or Early June, 2009.
 
REGISTRATION
If you have not registered but would like to, come out on a Monday night that we shoot and get signed up.
Registration will be in May at 6:30pm, at the Mitchell Trap Range.
We ask that a parent or guardian stay with the participant during registration.

During the registration we will fill out all paper work, go through all the rules
and regulations, demonstrate the shooting procedures and answer all questions.
This is REQUIRED for ALL SHOOTERS
 
The information that is required for registration is as follows
  • Participants Name
  • Address
  • Birth Date
  • Parent's Signature
  • Members Health Information -(diabetes, asthma, epileptic, or other conditions)
 
COST For Registration
$10.00 - 1st child
$10.00 - 2nd child
$25.00 for family of 3 or more
(pay at the time of registration)
If you are registered for the Indoor Shooting Sports, then your registration fees are already covered for Trap
 
COST For Shooting  (prices subject to change)
The cost of each round is $6.00 which includes a box of shells and 25 birds. We usually shoot 2 rounds for a total of $12.00 a night. There maybe an opportunity to also shoot Skeet on those nights, which will be an additional cost. If Skeet is offered it will be your option if you shoot it or not.
 
EQUIPMENT
Davison County 4-H Shooting Sports has shotguns to be used. We have 12ga & 20ga,
semi-automatics & pumps and youth & regular models.
If you have your own equipment,
you can use it, IF, after the Instructors inspect your equipment and say it is safe to use.
You are responsible for your own equipment.
 
AMMO & BIRDS
There is an additional cost for ammo (at a reduced rate) and clay birds.
The cost for ammo and birds will be determined by and announced at registration time.
You can bring your own ammo to use, IF, the instructors say it is safe to use.
